Webinar 'Harmonized Standards under the Machinery Directive' on 2021-10-18
This webinar will provide participants with practical information regarding the preparation of CEN & CENELEC harmonized standards to be cited in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) under the Machinery Directive.
It will include:
• Risk assessment and basic approach with reference to CEN Guide 414 and EN ISO 12100;
• Requirements in the standards: specificity and verifiability;
• Practical examples of elaboration of an informative Annex ZA/ZZ (including multi-part standards);
• Dating of normative references.
The focus of the webinar will be on providing guidance and solutions to CEN and CENELEC Technical Bodies in the preparation of harmonized standards.
Target audience: CEN and CENELEC TC and WG Officers and experts that are involved in the work on harmonized standards under Machinery Directive.
