On Tuesday the 11th of May, important updates will be integrated in QuickSearch and Projex-Online. Please take a moment to read the following information.
QuickSearch
Technical Committees and Sub-committees Officers will now have access to QuickSearch, a user-friendly search engine that allows you to navigate through BT decisions and associated documents (archived since 2016), European Standards and other deliverables, as well as all Technical Bodies. This tool has been developed to ensure more transparency and should facilitate access to documents.
Projex-Online
Projex-Online allows CEN and CENELEC Technical Body Officers and Experts to have access to detailed information on standardization projects under the work programme of the CEN and CENELEC Technical Bodies. Authorized users already had access to formal standard documents. As of next week, they can also access the voting results via Projex-Online, following the access rules already established.
Standardization Identity Federation (SIF)
From now on, everyone (Members, Technical Body Officers, Experts, CCMC) will be able to login to Projex-Online and QuickSearch using the Standardization Identity Federation (SIF). To do so, simply select the ‘Standardization Identity Federation’ option. Then, login with your CEN/ISO credential if you want to use your GD account or with your CENELEC/IEC credential if you want to use your EMS account.
Once you’re logged in with the SIF, the system will check which information you’re authorised to see. In the past, it used to be managed via an internal database (and still is the case for CCMC staff). From now on, it will be managed via roles assigned in the CENELEC Expert Management System (EMS) or in the CEN Global Directory (GD). These roles will be allocated following the rules that are already in place.
Downtime
On Monday the 10th of May between 5:30-7:30 pm, Projex-Online, QuickSearch and Working Area will be down to proceed to the changes. Our services should be back online in the evening. We thank you for your patience during this downtime and apologize for any inconvenience caused.
